#UNAPOLOGETIC FOODIE: FITFAM-ING MY WAY TO A SIZE 8😁

Hey guys, so I lost a lot of weight last year but unfortunately I gained everything x2 right back😢 my problem really is sugar but I am hoping to do better this year, so I am going to enjoy my junks this holiday season, heh! and start afresh next week, so fitfam here I come😁.
I used to be indifferent about my weight due to the fact that I lose weight easily and more than easily gain it right back but my grandpa (mum's dad) recently died of diabetes (God rest his soul) and my dad, well let's just say my dad is cursing the first day he tasted sugar (I inherited my sugar addiction from him), my aunt (mum's sister) is also diabetic, so let's just say with all these history I have to stop my very bad eating habit. I Love Food, it's no news really and I am unapologetic about it, heh! People think loving food means you are a glutton but they could not be more wrong, being a foodie means you love to experience and experiment new cuisines. So I am adding my foodieventures (foodie+adventure😁) to my blog stories, will be sharing my unending quests to try out new cuisines and my journey into the fitfam world, would even share my special experimental recipes, heh!. On that note check out some of my healthy experiments. Enjoy!😁

Sorry I am new at this so I forgot to take pictures of the process (promise to do better next time😁) but this is what I like to call 'Sultry Spinachy Smoothie' (I am really proud of the name, heh!) the taste is just as good as the name, if I could say so myself😁.
Ingredients:
* 1/4 Spinach
* 1 Small Red plum
* 1 Small sized Pineapple peeled and chopped into small pieces
* 1/2 cup Soya milk
How to:
* Freeze all ingredients except spinach for 30 minutes. (I froze mine so I would not have to use ice which would have made it watery)
* Firstly rinse and blend spinach (spinach has a very strong distinct taste so I blended it first so I could determine the quantity of pineapple to use as a sweetener, I mean I wanted a healthy drink but who says it has to be bitter because it is healthy, heh!)
* Add plum and soya milk
* Lastly add pineapple (you may need more than the quantity stated above, depending on how sweet you want it)
* Lastly, sit back and enjoy!! 😁

This one I call 'Plancake'!😁  Ok so it is basically Plantain Pancake! It is just like making pancake except the main ingredient is plantain and it fries faster than pancakes plus it is very moist! I used:-

Ingredients:
*  1 over ripe plantain
* 1/2 cup flour
* 2 eggs
* 2/3 water
* 1 chopped chili pepper (shombo) or habanero (rodo)
* 1/2 Onions
* 1 tsp honey (adjust to your taste)
* 2 tsp oil or butter.

How to:
* Blend your plantain till it becomes a paste.
* Add accordingly, eggs, flour, water, chilli pepper, onions, blend all.
* Butter your non-stick frying pan, heat it and pour a small amount of your batter and fry for 2 minutes on each side. (you can use oil but butter smells better)
* Serve with honey as a syrup. (though plancake is sweet without honey because of the plantain in it but just incase it is not, add honey)
* Enjoy this snack with 'Sultry Spinachy Smoothie' or 'Light Sparkling water' like i did above!

Who else is fitfam-ing this year?😁 Thank You for taking time out to read, do not forget to share! and Lastly, HAPPY NEW YEAR BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! MAY ALL OUR DREAMS COME TRUE THIS YEAR!!!

With Love💖
